Barbie Radcliffe is a teacher educator with over a decade of teaching experience in Florida public schools, including nine years teaching striving readers and writers in grades 6th through 8th. As one of the literacy educators in the department, the majority of her teaching load focus on adolescent literacy and evidence-based literacy instruction. A practitioner-oriented scholar, she seeks to make relevant research and evidence-based practices readily available and accessible to teachers, with publications in journals such as Voices from the Middle and the Middle School Journal. Other research interests include educator preparation, teacher professional learning, and student learning.
