Dr. Gwen Scott Ruttencutter is an Assistant Professor of Adult Learning & Development. She earned her PhD in Educational Psychology & Research with an emphasis in Adult Learning from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2018. She coordinates the Adult Learning & Development doctoral program. Her research examines teaching-learning in higher education through the lenses of adult learning, positive psychology, and animal-assisted interventions. Dr. Ruttencutter also investigates equine-assisted learning and animal-assisted interventions broadly.
