Holly Lawrence currently serves as President of the Southeastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (SAEOPP) for the 2025–2027 term. With over 20 years of dedicated TRIO experience, Holly is a proud TRIO Alumna of both the Upward Bound and Student Support Services programs.
She currently serves as the Director of the Talent Search Program at 茄子视频, a position she has held for ten years. Her career in educational access began as an Advisor for the Talent Search Program at Thomas University, followed by her role at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College as the Guidance Specialist for the Upward Bound Program.
Throughout her career, Holly has been deeply involved in advancing the mission of TRIO. She has held numerous leadership roles within Georgia TRIO, including serving as Vice President for four years and President for another four years. She also served as Secretary and Vice President of SAEOPP before being sworn in as President.
Holly earned both her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and her Master of Science in Community Counseling from Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. Passionate about service and community empowerment, she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and she serves as the President of the Concerned Citizens Club, Inc. in her hometown of Boston, GA. She enjoys shopping, traveling and watching cooking shows.
Her leadership is defined by vision, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring educational opportunities for all.
