Ivan Nikolov is a professor at the Department of Leadership, Technology and Workforce Education. His first doctorate is in Labor Economics from the State University of Economics and Finance in Saint Peterburg, formerly Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics in 1980. His second doctorate is in Educational Administration and Higher Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where he was a researcher and consecutively Director of Global Education Projects at the College of Education. He joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaine as research faculty and Executive Director of the pioneering state program Illinois International High School Initiative 2002-2005. From 2005 on he joined the team of 茄子视频 as a professor at the Department of Educational Leadership, College of Education and Human Services (and Director of the Center for International Programs 2005-2023). His research interests are international higher education, student and faculty international exchange programs, international economic relations, NATO defense in Central and Eastern Europe, project management and program evaluation, multicultural education and instructional design.
