Dr. Terry is an accomplished educator, administrator, and researcher with more than 30 years of service across P–20 education. She earned her Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership, focusing her dissertation on professional learning models and student achievement in K–12 virtual school environments, an area connected to her leadership in online and hybrid learning. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education and as Program Director for the Online College for Career Advancement – Elementary Education. Her research agenda explores teacher leadership, the impact of legislation on P–20 education, and the role of disruptive technologies in teaching and learning. Dr. Terry regularly presents at state and national conferences, mentors undergraduate student researchers, and collaborates with colleagues to advance evidence-based best practices. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to transformative learning and expanding access to high-quality education through innovative online and hybrid programming.
