Biography

Dr. Lisa Batten is a native of Pierce County, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at 茄子视频 in 1997. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2010 and a Post-Masters Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from 茄子视频. She completed her terminal degree at Georgia Southern University, graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2020. She is dual certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. While enrolled in her DNP program, she completed a PM-MSN Healthcare Informatics Certificate to satisfy her electives. Dr. Batten teaches Advanced Adult Health and Healthcare Informatics in the Graduate Nursing Program. She is currently active in her role as an APRN in primary care and the emergency department settings. Her research interests include chronic health conditions, diabetes education, and the application of advanced technology in healthcare.
