Biography

Dr. Lori Henderson has been a nurse since 1987, with a diverse background in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Hospice care. She spent 18 years teaching in the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Okefenokee Technical College, where she helped shape the next generation of nurses. Currently, she owns and operates her own practice in Waycross, Georgia. Dr. Henderson is passionate about mentoring students and finds great joy in watching them grow into their professional dreams. She believes that humor, open communication, empathy, and understanding are essential in healthcare and emphasizes the importance of nurturing these qualities in young nurses.
