Dr. Sharon G. Dodds brings experience in special education, psychology, and teacher preparation to her role as Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education. She holds an Ed.D. in Education from 茄子视频 (2000), along with advanced degrees in special education and psychology, and has served in a variety of educational roles including teacher, school psychologist, program director/administrator, and professor.
Throughout her tenure at Valdosta State, Dr. Dodds has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and early childhood education, consistently demonstrating her commitment to student success and inclusive practices. Her research spans quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies, focusing on topics such as self-esteem in students with learning disabilities, discipline practices, and achievement in heterogeneous classrooms.
