Statement of teaching and research interests:

Dr. Cantrell-Bruce focuses her teaching efforts on helping students develop competencies in public and nonprofit systems thinking, social network analysis, organizational behavior, program evaluation, personnel management, board governance, and synthesizing competencies by teaching nonprofit capstone courses. She both teaches and designs these courses for several universities. 
This same focus is applied to her scholarship of teaching research. She incorporates this research into her role as the ARNOVA Teaching Section co-chair of the professional development committee.
