Every 3rd Tuesday of each month at 9:00am and are open to all campus employees.
Reminder messages will be sent from the COSA Secretary prior to the meeting and will include the meeting link and agenda.

Food Foward Campus - Blazer Pantry Initiative 2026

COSA and the Career Opportunities & Volunteer Services team invites you to participate in FOOD FORWARD CAMPUS Initiative.  Donations will benefit VSU’s Blazer Pantry & Closet.

From March 24th – April 24th, 2026, we encourage you to donate food items to the Blazer Pantry in support of campus food insecurities. Your contributions help ensure that every Blazer is filled.

While Career Opportunities & Volunteer Services accept donations year-round, this drive is a special opportunity to maximize support for our students.

Blood Drive 2026

The Office of Career Opportunities & Volunteer Services, in partnership with the Council on Staff Affairs (COSA) and the Kappa Delta Queens of the Kappa Delta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., invites you to participate in our Operation Blood Drive with OneBlood on Tuesday, March 25.
This is a wonderful opportunity for faculty and staff to come together, give back to the community, and make a life-saving impact right here on campus.

📍 Odum Library Loop (In front of Brown Hall)
All donors will receive:
  • A $20 Walmart eGift Card
  • A long-sleeved t-shirt
  • A wellness checkup (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count & cholesterol screening)
  • 3 hours of community service credit (if applicable for volunteer hours reporting)
